  • Manage scheduling of the account for sharing content from tennis, padel and badminton. Local and global content variety.
  • Liaise with a network of 600 people in the Babolat UK network across players, coaches, ambassadors, venues and clubs to provide and facilitate a wide range of content.

  • The website was fairly blog-like, 1 dimensional, and no clear path through the various plumbing and heating resources available to arrive at the desired call to actions.
  • The website content was not optimised for local SEO, and given WPJ only serve South West London this was an opportunity not yet being utilised.
  • Some work was needed on the omnichannel strategic approach to multiple digital marketing touch points for customers to engage with including email marketing, reviews management, social media and in-home messaging.

  • Updated the branding from a blog style website to a modern and engaging responsive design that incorporates warming lifestyle imagery.
  • Restructured the website content to create clear user journeys for different sections of the website depending on customer needs for various plumbing and heating areas of their homes.
  • On-page SEO and content strategy was improved to increase search rankings for many keywords based on the plumbing & heating service type and location in London.

Clean up the campaigns in Google AdWords.
Campaign strategies had previously not been aligned under a single strategic approach, and without any conversion metrics on the website, EP were unable to evaluate performance and user behaviour.

Problem

  • PPC campaigns are an integral part of how EP produce traffic and inbound leads, and with their campaigns seemingly working in a random and disjointed manner, some consolidation and strategic direction was required.
  • Proper bidding strategies needed to be put in place, and keyword-focussed ad copy had to match the user type of individual campaigns.
  • There were no conversion metrics on the website to evaluate how the AdWords traffic behaved for each campaign so couldn't complete the loop of accurately measuring any kind of ROI from the PPC channel.

Approach

  • Implement a strategic bidding process for each campaign's adverts. Every campaign had different goals and type of user so needed to have their own progression through the bidding strategies.
  • With each campaign being different, generic ad copy across the account would not improve the campaign performances. Keywords were updated along with the ad health and ad score using better copy in the titles and descriptions to match how the users searched for EP's services.
  • Continued monitoring and tweaking of all content was necessary to improve every campaign in the account, focussing on the ad visibility to the right type of traffic and increasing the click through rates of the adverts across all campaigns.
  • Installed several conversion goals on Analytics linked back to AdWords to enable EP to monitor how each campaign was performing, and how each ad's traffic was navigating through the landing pages to the various call to actions on the website.
  • Created a complete user funnel with analytics and data available at every touch point along the journey, broken down by campaign to fully understand where the inbound leads come from, giving EP accurate cost per lead data that was previously not available.
